Soy Candles Last Longer
Soy wax has a much lower melting point than paraffin wax, meaning soy candles burn for longer.
A lower melting point means that the wax is able to create a large melt pool and release more fragrance for longer. A well made soy candle will burn for 30-50% longer than a paraffin alternative.

Soy Wax Makes Eco Friendly Candles
Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from soy bean oil. Unlike paraffin wax which is made from crude oil, soy wax is vegan, biodegradable and 100% plant-based.
When grown responsibly, soy beans are an infinitely renewable resource, unlike crude oil which causes environmental disruption and destruction at every stage of production, and will of course eventually run out.
Soy candles burn more slowly, giving you more hours of use and as it is plant based, any residual wax is bio-degradable.
Soy Candles Burn Cleaner
When a candle burns a small amount of soot is released into the air.
Paraffin wax is derived from petroleum and is made up of straight-chain hydrocarbons which as they combust, release a dark soot which can stain walls and fabrics and can lead to respiratory problems.
Soy candles have been shown to emit an estimated 10 times less soot into the air than a typical paraffin wax candle.
Soy Candles are Non Toxic
A study by South Carolina State University in 2009, showed that paraffin wax candles emit microscopic toxic particles into the air when burning. Whilst it is debatable whether the levels of fumes emitted by paraffin wax candles are harmful, the toxins they release are known carcinogens linked to asthma and lung cancer.
Soy wax does not release any of the pollutants found in paraffin candles.
